Miloslav Vlček (born February 1, 1961 in Konice ) is a Czech politician ( ČSSD ).

Miloslav Vlček was born in Konice and studied agricultural science at the Mendel University in Brno . After initially working for the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSČ) from 1983 to 1989 , he became a member of the Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) in 1993 .

Vlček was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament in 1995 . In 1998 he became a member of the Budget Committee, where he chaired it from January to June 2006. In August 2006 he was elected chairman of the Chamber of Deputies. As a result of a financial scandal, he had to resign as chairman in April 2010 and also gave up his mandate.

In April 2014 he became an advisor to Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka (ČSSD).

Vlček is married for the second time and has four children.
