Milton Camilo
Milton Camilo (born February 1, 1970 in Nova Iguaçu in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian dancer , choreographer and painter .
From 1989 to 1997 he completed a dance training in ballet at the "Escola Estadual Maria Olenewa" and in contemporary dance at the "Angel Viana" in Rio de Janeiro. From 1992 he worked as a dancer in various dance productions in Rio de Janeiro, from 1998 in Germany as a teacher at various locations such as the studio for music and dance "Shakti" in Duisburg and the "Wuppertaler Werkstatt" in Wuppertal, which he has also directed since 2008 . From 1998 to 2008 he was a dancer and dramaturge in the "Mark Sieczkarek Company".
His work as a painter has grown in importance over the past few years. In October 2008, Camilo opened his own gallery in Wuppertal .
