Mimmelitt, the city rabbit
Mimmelitt, the city rabbit is the title of a radio play for children from the age of four by Reinhard Lakomy and Monika Ehrhardt , which was published in 1984 by VEB Deutsche Schallplatten . Similar to other radio plays in the series, such as the Magic Dream Tree , the plot spans a series of story songs that are themselves little stories.

action
The rabbit Mimmelitt learns that there is supposed to be a “squeaky secret” in town, an iron ghost. So it starts its Kasuki, the "rabbit super box" and goes on the trail. Curiosity and defiant courage help Mimmelitt to uncover the secret in the middle of the night. He finds out that the secret is a squeaky old weathercock that no longer has a roof to stand on. Mimmelitt gives the weathercock a new coat of paint and a little oil to stop the squeaking. In the end he even succeeds in giving the weathercock a new home on the roof of a school.
