Minerva sound film
The Minerva-talkies GmbH was a German film production company in the 1930s, based in Berlin .
The company named after the Roman patron deity of the trade, but also the poet, which did not have its own studios and filmed in the Tobis studio in Berlin-Johannisthal, among others , produced fifteen feature films of various genres between 1934 and 1939, including the propaganda films "Togger" ( 1936/37) and “Alarm in Peking” (1937). Adolf Essek and Conny Carstennsen appeared repeatedly as production managers, and Curt Prickler as production manager , but the artistic production staff changed frequently. Actors who were frequently used in Minerva films were Maria Krahn , Ursula Herking ,Wera Schultz , Rudolf Essek , Max Gülstorff , Walter Werner and Paul Westermeier .
