The Minstrel Point is a headland on the west coast of Elephant Iceland in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It lies between Cape Lindsey and Cape Yelcho .
Participants of the British Joint Services Expedition to Elephant Island (1970–1971) made the name. It is named after the brig Minstrel , a British sealer from London under Captain Christopher MacGregor, who anchored not far from this headland in February 1821.
