Miracle Records was an American blues and rhythm and blues record label that existed from 1946 to 1950.

The Chicago- based independent label Miracle Records was founded in August 1946 by Lee J. Egalnick (* 1921). It produced records for the African American market in the second half of the 1940s ; there appeared mainly rhythm and blues recordings of the artists working in the city, such as Rudy Richardson, Dick Davis , Memphis Slim , Floyd Hunt, Gladys Palmer , Brother Sellers, Browley Guy and Sonny Thompson .

Similar to the label Aristocrat Records , which was also founded at the time, the focus was less on the rural Mississippi Delta Blues , but on the genres of ballads, blues, jive and rhythmically emphasized numbers in the spectrum of jazz, R&B and pop.

Miracle Records was located at 107 East 47th Street, which was on the main South Side shopping street in the African American neighborhood; In 1947 the company moved to 500 East 63rd Street, which was in the emerging nightclub district of Bezork. During this time Lew Simpkins joined the label as A&R . Most of the recordings were made in the United Broadcasting Studio , which later belonged to the founder of Master Records , the German-born Egmont eccentric (* 1906). After the company ended, Miracle's recordings appeared on the nerd label Master and Old Swing-Master .
