Miriam Broicher

Miriam Broicher (* 1990 in Cologne ) is a German writer . She gained greater fame through her fantasy novel Gate to the Shadowland .

Life

Broicher lives with her parents and brother in the city of Cologne. She attended the Archbishop's Irmgardis Grammar School, where she graduated from high school in 2010. She wrote little poems when she was ten and her first short stories when she was eleven . According to her own statements, she is a passionate tennis player and has also been playing the piano for a few years .

Success and quick awareness

After her first novel, the then 14-year-old received great praise from the world of critics. Last but not least, the appearance of the then 16-year-old on the occasion of her second book The Secret of the Elves in Stefan Raab's show TV total made for even more awareness.
