Miriam Christmann

Miriam Christmann (born July 6, 1966 - May 12, 2008 ) was a German television presenter .

Christmann worked as a TV presenter for ARD . Among other things, she was engaged as an expert for styling in the programs ARD-Buffet and Kaffee oder Tee from 1999 until her death. Christmann was a trained tailor and costume designer and worked as an image stylist for the SWR .

In 2005 she also published two books on felt for OZ-Verlag. In 2006 she worked on image developments for presenters for Saarland Broadcasting Corporation.

At the age of 41, she and her boyfriend of the same age, the sound engineer Timo Richter, died of carbon monoxide poisoning . The couple had barbecued on the terrace in the evening and then put the grill in the apartment; the coal gave off poisonous carbon monoxide , which both suffocated during the night. The police found her dead in the shared bedroom the following day after work colleagues worried that neither of them had turned up for work.
