Miriam Staudte (born November 4, 1975 in Kiel ) is a German politician ( Alliance 90 / The Greens ). She is a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament . There she is deputy chairman of her group. Your constituency is the Elbe state electoral district .

Professional background

From 1996 to 2001 she studied social affairs at the North East Lower Saxony University of Applied Sciences in Lüneburg and obtained a degree as a qualified pedagogue / social worker. Her work focuses on social psychiatry and assisted living for children and adolescents.

Political career

Miriam Staudte has been a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen since 1993 and was spokeswoman for the Lüneburg district association from 2000 to 2001. Since February 2008 she has been deputy chairwoman of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group. In the 17th electoral term of the Lower Saxony state parliament, she is the spokesperson for nuclear policy, animal welfare and consumer protection in her parliamentary group.
