Mirijam Contzen

Mirijam Contzen (* 1976 in Münster ) is a German - Japanese violinist .

Life

Mirijam Contzen grew up in Ascheberg. She began her studies in 1984 at the Detmold University of Music and was a master class student of the Hungarian violin teacher Tibor Varga (1921–2003). Since 2005 she has been artistic director of every summer at Schloss Cappenberg held International Chamber Music Festival Schloss Cappenberg. She is professor for violin at the Berlin University of the Arts.
