Mirjam Schmidt (born February 26, 1977 in Kulmbach ) is a German politician Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen .

Life

Mirjam Schmidt studied art history, history and education in Munich and Frankfurt am Main. After working as Assistant and Gallery Director of the Voges Gallery in Frankfurt am Main, she moved to Meixner Schlüter Wendt Architects as an assistant to the management in 2010 , where she was also responsible for press and public relations. From 2013 to 2018 Mirjam Schmidt was Christoph Mäckler's personal assistant and headed communications at the German Institute for Urban Architecture in Frankfurt am Main. Most recently, she worked as a consultant for the city of Frankfurt am Main and in Department III Personnel and Health, among other things, she was responsible for drug policy .

She has been a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen since 2016. In the state elections in Hesse in 2018 , she received a mandate in the Hessian state parliament . She ran in the constituency of Frankfurt am Main IV and achieved a result of 10,647 votes (25.7%). She entered the state parliament via her party's state list.
