Mirko Smiljanic
Mirko Smiljanic (born February 22, 1951 in Mansfield , Nottinghamshire , United Kingdom ) is a technology and science journalist for radio and television from Cologne.
Life
Smiljanic has been working as a technology and science journalist for radio and television since 1985, initially at Sender Freie Berlin (SFB), then mainly for Deutschlandfunk and WDR as well as Südwestrundfunk . In the DLF he worked for a while for the science magazine “ Forschung aktuell ” and its holiday edition “ Wissenschaft im Brennpunkt ” , as well as the education and discussion program “Forum Pisa” , the health magazine “Consultation hour” , the program “Studiozeit” and “ Background ” .
Smiljanic is a member of the Science Press Conference (WPK), where he helps shape current technology and science topics.
