Mirko Vujačić

Mirko Markov Vujačić ( Cyrillic  Мирко Вујачић * September 1, 1924 in Golubovci, Podgorica, Montenegro; † January 2, 2016 in Čepurci) was a Yugoslav javelin thrower .

He started for Partizan Beograd . He took part in the European Championships in Lugano, Brussels, Stockholm and Oslo. In 1957 he was the best sportsman in Montenegro .

Mirko Vujačić was a participant in the 1948 Summer Olympics in London and a finalist in the javelin throw (7th place). He carried the Yugoslav flag in London. Vujačić's best result was 74.54 meters in 1960.

In 1984 he lit the torch at the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.

He was married and had two children.
