Miroslaw Car

Mirosław Car (born November 24, 1960 in Bielsk Podlaski , † June 7, 2013 in Białystok ) was a Polish football player .

Athletic career

Car started his career at Tur Bielsk Podlaski . In 1980 he moved to Legia Warsaw because of his military service , but there he was denied a breakthrough in two seasons. He then went to Motor Lublin , with whose team he rose to the Ekstraklasa in 1983 . In 1986 he moved to the second division club Jagiellonia Białystok , with whom he also rose to the Ekstraklasa. In September 1988, he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon that ended his senior career. He then returned to Tur Bielsk Podlaski in 1989.

After the end of his playing career, Car moved to the coaching bench. Among other things, he looked after his former club Tur Bielsk Podlaski, but was also active in various clubs as a coach assistant and in youth work.
