Mirosława Nykiel

Mirosława Nykiel (born September 23, 1953 in Wańkowa ) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Mirosława Nykiel studied at the Faculty of Art Education at the Silesian University in Cieszyn and graduated in 1983 with a master's degree . From 1975 to 1984 she worked at the Prasa-Książka-Ruch-Verlag in Oświęcim ( Auschwitz ), joined Solidarność in 1980 and became the head of the trade union for the publishing house. After she left the Prasa-Książka-Ruch publishing house, Mirosława Nykiel was a Polish teacher at a primary school in Miedźna until 1990 . At the end of the 1990s she became director of the Oświęcim division of Ruch SA , from 1998 she was a member and from 2000 to 2001 chairwoman of the board. In 2002 she founded and ran the Edukacyjne Centrum Biznesu ( Business Education Center ) in Bielsko-Biała . In 2003 she became a member of Inicjatywa dla Polski and in 2005 switched to the citizens' platform. In the parliamentary elections in 2005 she was able to win a seat in the Polish Senate . In the early elections in 2007 , Mirosława Nykiel ran for the Sejm and was able to win a mandate .

Mirosława Nykiel is married and has three children.
