Miroslav Horčic

Miroslav Horčic (born August 3, 1921 in Nymburk ; † January 14, 2017 in Karlsruhe ) was a Czechoslovak sprinter .

In 1949 he won gold over 100 m and silver over 200 m at the World Festival of Youth and Students .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 he was sixth in the 4 x 100 meter relay . Over 200 m he reached the quarter-finals, and over 100 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run.

Five times he was Czechoslovakian champion over 100 m (1945, 1948-1950, 1952) and once over 200 m (1949).
