Mirower Adlersee

The Mirower Adlersee is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District in the south of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The lake is located about 7 kilometers south of Mirow and is part of a chain of lakes consisting of the Zotzensee , Mössensee , Vilzsee , Mirower Adlersee, Zethner See and Schwarzer See (Schwarz). The size of the lake is about 850 meters in length and up to 300 meters in width. There are connections to other bodies of water in an easterly direction to Vilzsee with a connection to the Müritz-Havel waterway . In a westerly direction the Mirower Adlersee connects to the Zethner See. From there you can go north over the Schwarzer See to the Fehrlingsee. The inflow comes from the Zethner See and the outflow goes into the Vilzsee. The outflow from the Mirower Adlersee into the Vilzsee is very wide and therefore hardly recognizable.
