The Zethner See is located in the Mecklenburg Lake District south of Mirow in the south of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , near the border with Brandenburg . It is the most south-westerly lake in the chain of lakes south of Mirow consisting of Zotzensee , Mössensee , Vilzsee , Zethner See and Schwarzer See .
At around 950 meters long and 450 meters wide, it has an oval shape without any major structure. In the north it goes over into the Schwarzer See, in the east over the Mirower Adlersee into the Vilzsee.
On the west bank is the Zethner See forest camping site and a scout tent site.
The Forsthof Schwarz campsite and a youth meeting place are located on the south bank between Lake Peetsch and Lake Zethn .
