Mischa Kamp

Mischa Kamp (born August 7, 1970 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch film director .

Career

From 1989 Kamp studied communication science at the New School for Information Services in Amsterdam . In 1991 she moved to the Nederlandse Film en Televisie Academie , where she graduated in 1996 with the short film Mijn moeder heeft ook een pistool . That same year, she was at the VPRO telecast Waskracht! involved. After several documentaries and short films, she became known in 2005 for the children's film A Horse for Winky . In 2007 the director also shot the sequel Where's Winky's Horse? . After other television films, the family film Tony 10 was released in theaters in 2012 . With Jongens , a TV film by Kamp was released again in 2014, but due to its great success it was subsequently released in the cinemas.
