The Missinaibi Lake is a lake on the border between Algoma and Sudbury District in the Canadian province of Ontario .
The lake is located in Missinaibi Provincial Park , 20 km east of Missanabie and 60 km northwest of Chapleau . Missinaibi Lake lies at an altitude of 346 m in the area of the Canadian Shield . The lake has a Y-shape with three arms. The southern arm has a length of 12 km, the northwest arm is 18 km long, the northeast arm extends to 32 km in length. The width of the lake is a maximum of 2 km. Missinaibi Lake is drained by the Missinaibi River at the end of the northeast branch. The most important tributary is the Little Missinaibi River .
The lake is used for recreational activities such as canoeing and fishing . In the lake you can find glass ey perch , pike , American char and herring vendace .
