Mitja Birlo
Mitja Birlo (* 1985 in Bielefeld ) is a German chef .
Career
Birlo started at the gatehouse in Stadthagen , moved to Traube Tonbach in Baiersbronn and then to the Viajante restaurant in London (one Michelin star ). Then Birlo went to the Heimberg restaurant at Christian Geisler's in Zermatt (one Michelin star).
In 2014 he became sous chef at the Silver restaurant in Vals in Graubünden. Here he became head chef in May 2018. The restaurant was awarded two Michelin stars in 2019.
