Brattebotthalsen is a press ice back in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Orvinfjella it rises south of the Dallmannberge .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1967 based on the descriptive name of the neighboring Brattebotnen .
