The Brattebotnen ( Norwegian for Steep-Walled Kessel ) is a steep- sided mountain basin in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Orvinfjella it lies on the west face of the Dallmannberge .
Participants in the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960) mapped it using aerial photographs and gave it its descriptive name.
