Ludovite Karpil

Ludovit Karpil is a Slovak basketball coach .

Life

Karpil coached the Bundesliga club Grün-Weiß Frankfurt in Germany and then USC Mainz , with whom he also competed in the European Cup Winners' Cup in the 1971/72 season, before he took up the position of coach of the Bundesliga club 1. FC Bamberg in 1972 . In 1972 he moved to 1. FC Bamberg within the Bundesliga . In his first year as a Bamberg coach, he led the team to the semi-finals of the Bundesliga championship round. After the end of the 1973/74 season, Karpil and the Bambergers separated.

He then worked as a trainer at TG Würzburg , leading the men's team to promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1976. He then trained with BG Bamberg and returned to Bundesliga club 1. FC Bamberg in 1982, but was inherited by manager Hans Herbst in the coaching office during the 1982/83 season , and the team ultimately relegated from the Bundesliga. He coached the upper division TSV Ebermannstadt as a coach and led the team to promotion to the regional league in 1985.

From 2004 he coached the women of the TG Würzburg, with whom he was promoted unbeaten to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 2005/06 season. In December 2006 there was a separation.
