history

On January 15, 1921, the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation was founded with headquarters in Tokyo. The Mitsubishi Electric Corporation emerged from the production area for electrical ship assemblies, from the shipyard of today's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries . In 1930, Mitsubishi Electric began manufacturing, installing, and servicing elevators and escalators , and manufacturing equipment for generating electricity. Mitsubishi Electric recognized the importance of environmental protection as early as the early 1960s and relied on environmentally conscious production techniques. Over the years, the company grew, branches were founded around the world, and as a result Mitsubishi Electric developed into one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic products and components for industrial applications and many areas of daily life. These include the world's first large LED screen for sports arenas, the world's largest CRT television screen for the consumer market, the world's fastest elevators and much more.
