Mitsui Kinzoku Kōgyō KK ( Japanese 三井 金属 鉱 業 株式会社 , ~ Kabushiki-gaisha , English Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co., Ltd. ) is a Japanese company of the Mitsui Group , which is active in various areas. The traditional business consists of mining and operating zinc, lead and copper smelters.

Today, battery materials, catalytic converters, copper foil, metal powder, ceramics, PVD target materials and door locks for cars are also manufactured.

In 1874 the Mitsui family bought a mine near Kamioka . In 1950 Mitsui Kinzoku Kōgyō was split off from Mitsui Kōzan .
