Mittmedia
Mittmedia (with the parent company Mitt Media Förvaltnings AB ) is one of the largest media companies in Sweden . The network consists of several daily newspapers , printers and private radio stations . Mittmedia owns 70 percent of the foundation Nya Stiftelsen Gefle Dagblad and 30 percent of the Stiftelsen press organization . Mittmedia is based in Gävle .
History of MittMedia
Mittmedia was called Gevle Dagblads Förvältnings AB until 2003 and owned, among other things, Gefle Dagblad , Sundsvalls Tidning and some Radio Rix stations. After the acquisition of the Arbetarbladet , the group was renamed MittMedia and divided into several subsidiaries .
When Centraltidningar was sold in 2005, Mittmedia acquired shares in the newspaper group, which publishes, among other things, Öresunds-Posten and several newspapers in Hälsingland . In 2006 Mittmedia bought Länstidningen i Östersund .

- Gävletidningar (9.1 percent owned by Arbetarbladet Intressenter AB), publisher of Gefle Dagblad and Arbetarbladet , including their printers and the press agency Gävle Nyhetsbyrå.
- Tryckeri AB Ljusnan (daily newspaper Ljusnan).
- Rondelles i Norden AB (Hudiksvalls Tidning, Hälsingekuriren and Ljusdals-Posten).
- Sundsvalls Tidning AB (Sundsvalls Tidning and Dagbladet).
- Tidningen Ångermanland AB (Tidningen Ångermanland).
- AB Allehanda (Örnsköldsviks Allehanda).
- Östersundstidningar AB (Östersunds-Posten and Länstidningen in Östersund).
MittMedia also operates the private broadcasting stations:
- Radio Rix in Sandviken , Hälsingland , Sundsvall and Örnsköldsvik .
- Radio Guld in Sundsvall
Other business areas
- Mittmedia owns 5 percent of the Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå news agency and 22 percent of the Nerikes Allehanda group .
- All newspapers of Mitt Medias are advertising composite locus .
