The communications of the Austrian Geographical Society - previously communications of the kk Geographical Society in Vienna - has been a specialist journal of the Austrian Geographical Society that has been published regularly since 1857 . The communications of the Austrian Geographical Society (MÖGG) appear annually and since volume 151 they have also been published electronically by the publishing house of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in addition to the printed version . The journal is indexed on the Thomson Reuters Web of Science - previously ISI - ( Social Sciences Citation Index ).
Content and access
The MÖGG is dedicated to the entire spectrum of geography . In Europe , the regional focus is primarily on the successor states of Austria-Hungary . Contributions to other European and non-European research, to the methodology or didactics of geography are also regularly part of the MÖGG. The articles are published either in German or in English .
