Mittelstrasse 54 (Lemgo)
The building Mittelstraße 54 in Lemgo , a city in the Lippe district in North Rhine-Westphalia , was built in the second half of the 13th century. The so-called house for the city arms is a protected architectural monument .
The two-story stone gabled house has unusually strong stone walls on the ground floor. During the renovations in 1696 and in the 20th century, the stepped gable and the loft were removed.
From 1740 to 1842 the printing works and the publishing house of the Meyerschen Hofbuchhandlung , which was of national importance, were located here .
