Mladen Ančić

Mladen Ančić (born July 3, 1955 in Sarajevo ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian historian of Croatian ethnicity who mainly deals with the medieval history of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.

After attending school and completing a history degree at the University of Sarajevo in 1980 , he continued his studies at the University of Belgrade , where he obtained his master's degree in 1985; In 1996 he received his doctorate from the University of Zagreb . From 1987 to 1993 he worked at the Institute for History in Sarajevo, and since then at the Institute for Historical Sciences in Zadar . Mladen Ančić has written several monographs as well as a large number of smaller works.
