Mnichov
Mnichov (from Czech mnich = monk; from Latin monachus , Greek monachos = hermit) is the name of several places in the Czech Republic:
- Mnichov u Mariánských Lázní (Hermitage in the Imperial Forest), a town in Bohemia
- Mnichov pod Pradědem (Hermitage), village in the Jeseníky Mountains, part of Vrbno pod Pradědem
- Mnichov u Strakonic (Münchhof), municipality in western Bohemia
- Mnichov u Poběžovic (Münchsdorf), a municipality in western Bohemia
- Mnichov u Loun (Minichhof), village in Northern Bohemia, part of Libčeves
- Mnichov u Lučního Chvojna (Munich), village in Northern Bohemia, part of Velké Chvojno
- Mnichov ( Munich ), a desert near Zahrádky in northern Bohemia
- Mnichov, since 1955 Mírová , municipality in Okres Karlovy Vary
Mnichov is also the Czech name for the city of Munich .
