Zahrádky (German Neugarten ) is a municipality of the Okres Česká Lípa in the Liberec region in the north of the Czech Republic . It is located in the valley of the Robečský potok (Robitzer Bach) , about five kilometers south of Česká Lípa (Bohemian Leipa) .
The Silnice I / 9 highway runs through the village from Prague to the German border at Rumburk (Rumburg) . Zahrádky owns a train station on the North Bohemian Transversal Railway Lovosice - Česká Lípa .
history
From the middle of the 19th century, the municipality belonged to the judicial district of Böhmisch Leipa or the district of Böhmisch Leipa .
Community structure
The community Zahrádky consists of the districts Zahrádky (Neugarten) , Borek (Regersdorf) and Šváby (Swabia) . Basic settlement units are Borek, Karasy ( Karsch ), Šváby and Zahrádky.
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Šváby and Zahrádky u České Lípy.

- Nature reserve Novozámecký rybník (Hirnsener Large Pond) , one of the most important bird sanctuaries in the Czech Republic with the Novozámecká průrva (Hirnsener Schlucken) , a 175 m long stone outflow channel
- Mnichovská průrva (Munich swallow) , another smaller "swallow"
