Stvolínky (German Drum ) is a municipality in the Okres Česká Lípa in the Liberec region in the north of the Czech Republic . It is located in the Bohemian Central Uplands in the valley of the Bobří potok (Bieberbach) , about 10 kilometers southwest of Česká Lípa (Bohemian Leipa) .
history
The church in Stvolínky is one of the oldest in the country. It was first mentioned in a document in 1358, but a fortified house stood next to it as early as 1197 as the seat of a manor that belonged to the Bohemian magnate Hroznata , founder of the Premonstratensian monastery in Teplá. Most of the fortress was demolished in 1664 when the new palace was built. In 1859 the vestibule and castle gate were still there. From the middle of the 19th century, the municipality belonged to the judicial district of Böhmisch Leipa or the district of Böhmisch Leipa .
Community structure
The municipality of Stvolínky consists of the districts Kolné (Kolben) , Novina (Neuland) , Stvolínecké Petrovice (Petersdorf) , Stvolínky (Drum) and Taneček (Lobetanz) . Basic settlement units are Kolné, Malý Bor ( Kleinheide ), Stvolínecké Petrovice, Stvolínky and Taneček.
The municipality is divided into the cadastral districts of Stvolínecké Petrovice and Stvolínky.
