Noviny pod Ralskem (German Neuland am Rollberge ) is a municipality in the Okres Česká Lípa in the Liberec region in the north of the Czech Republic .
It is located in the valley of the river Ploučnice (Polzen) at the foot of the mountains Ralsko (Roll) and Lipka ( Limberg , 473 mnm).
history
From the middle of the 19th century, new land on the Rollberge belonged to the judicial district of Niemes or the Bohemian Leipa district .
Attractions
- In the village is the Chapel of the Holy Trinity from the 18th century.
- On the outskirts is the Průrva Ploučnice (Polz breakout) ; there the Ploučnice flows over 150 meters through an artificially created underground canal.
