The Silnice I / 9 ( Czech for: "Road I. Class 9") is a Czech state road (road I. Class), which leads from Prague in a northerly direction to the German border.

The road begins at the junction (exit) 1 highway D8 motorway in the north of Prague , runs along Neratovice (Neratowitz) over, crossing the Elbe crosses in Mělník (Melnik) the Silnice I / 16 and continues over Liběchov (Liboch) and Dubá (Dauba) to Jestřebí u České Lípy (Habstein), where the Silnice I / 38 branches off to the southeast and after a further four kilometers takes up the Silnice I / 15 . In its further course it runs through Česká Lípa (Bohemian Leipa) and meets in Nový Bor (Haida) on Silnice I / 13 , with which it runs together over a distance of 6 kilometers to the east. It branches off to the north again and crosses the Lusatian Mountains (Luzické hory) on the Stožecké sedlo (Schöbersattel) pass . From there it leads in the Bohemian Netherlands to shortly before Rumburk (Rumburg), where it branches off to the east to the Czech-German border, from which the Saxon state road 148 continues to the German federal road 96 .

The length of the road is around 108 kilometers.
