  • The Dálnice 56 ( Czech for "Autobahn 56") is a motorway in the Czech Republic and connects Ostrava with Frýdek-Místek , where it joins the D48 . Most of the line was completed between 1985 and 1990. Only the bypass from Frýdek-Místek to the new junction with the D48 is still missing. Until December 31, 2015 it was classified as an expressway and was called Rychlostní silnice 56 . In the north as in the south it is continued by the Silnice I / 56 .
