It runs as the Dálnice 6 motorway to Nové Strašecí (Neustraschitz) west of Kladno , turns into the road after junction (exit) 32, takes the Silnice I / 16 coming from the east in Řevničov (Rentsch) , crosses at Petrohrad (Petersburg ) the Silnice I / 27 , has already been developed as a motorway for a short distance near Lubenec , leads via Bochov (Buchau) to Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary), where the Silnice I / 13 ( European route 442 ) branches off, and becomes a motorway here again Dálnice 6 (now also European route 49 ). At the junction (exit) 169, the motorway turns again into the country road that crosses the Czech-German border at Pomezí nad Ohří (Mühlbach) and continues as federal road 303 .
The length of the road is around 167 kilometers.
history
From 1940 to 1945 the road from Cheb to Karlsbad formed part of Reichsstraße 15 , from Karlsbad to Prague of Reichsstraße 93 . Between Cheb and Pomezí nad Ohří, the road runs on the route of the Reichsautobahn, which started before 1942, leading from Gefrees in the direction of Liberec (Reichenberg) .
