The Silnice I / 43 ( Czech for: "1st class road 43") is a Czech state road (1st class road).
course
The road branches off from the Brno Great Ring (Velký městský okruh) ( Silnice I / 42 ) and initially leads north as a four-lane road, passes the town of Kuřim (Gurein) in the east, takes Silnice I / near Sebranice u Boskovic (Sebranitz) 19 , crosses Letovice (Lettowitz) and Březová nad Svitavou (Brüsau), crosses Silnice I / 34 in Svitavy (Zwittau) and four kilometers further north the Silnice I / 35 . Up to here it also forms the European route 461 . At Anenská Studánka (Königsfeld) the Silnice I / 14 branches off to the northwest. The Silnice I / 43 continues via Lanškroun (Landskron) to the northeast and meets around three kilometers to Štíty (Mährisch Schildberg) on the Silnice I / 11 . With this it runs together for a distance of around eight kilometers to the north, then leaves it and leads via Králíky (Grulich) to the Polish border before Boboszów (Bobischau). From there the Polish Droga krajowa 33 continues in the direction of Kłodzko (Glatz).
The length of the road is almost 116 kilometers.

From 1940 to 1945 the street formed part of Reichsstraße 116 .
