The Silnice I / 56 ( Czech for: "1st class road 56") is a Czech state road (1st class road).
course
The road begins on the northern outskirts of the town of Opava on Silnice I / 46 , runs from there in an easterly direction via Kravaře ve Slezsku (Deutsch-Krawarn) and Hlučín (Hultschin), turns south and crosses the Dálnice 1 motorway at the junction (exit) 261, crossed, now four lanes, the city of Ostrava , crosses the Silnice I / 11 , becomes the highway Dálnice 56 at Ostrava-Hrabova (junction (exit) 39) and is currently established as such to the junction (exit) 51 in Frýdek-Místek (Friedeck-Mistek), from there again as Silnice I / 56, crosses the Dálnice 48 / Silnice I / 48 , which has already been partially developed as a motorway , and continues on the course of the Ostrawitza following upwards, continue in a southerly direction via Frýdlant nad Ostravicí (Friedland an der Ostrawitza) until it ends a few kilometers before the border with Slovakia at Silnice I / 35 ( European route 442 ).
