  • The D3 motorway is a Czech highway in Central Bohemia and South Bohemia on the route Prague - Tabor - Budweis limit A / CZ.

    description

After its completion, the route, which is largely still planned, will connect Prague with Linz together with the Austrian Mühlviertel expressway . Currently, only a 41 km long stretch between Mezno (Benešov district) and Veselí nad Lužnicí has been completed and is in operation. A 1.7 km long stretch near Veselí nad Lužnicí and an 18 km long stretch to relocate the main road I / 3 were completed (bypassing the town of Veselí nad Lužnicí and the Ševětín - Borek route ). A 26 km long section of the D3 motorway between Tábor and Veselí nad Lužnicí opened on June 28, 2013.

The section between Třebonín and the state border with Austria was originally planned as the R3 expressway (rychlostní silnice), but has been part of the D3 since the rededication of the Czech motorways and expressways on January 1, 2016.
