The Silnice I / 7 ( Czech for: "1st class road 7") is a Czech state road (1st class road).

The road, which has already been largely replaced by Dálnice 7 , which has been upgraded to a motorway since January 1, 2016 , connects Prague with Chomutov . The sections that have not yet been expanded are described with Dálnice 7. From Chomutov, the road runs through the Ore Mountains (Krusné Hory) until Křimov and reaches the border with Germany before Reitzenhain , behind which it continues as federal highway 174 .

The length of the road from the intersection with the Silnice I / 13 near Chomutov to the German border is around 17 kilometers, on the total length from Prague around 100 kilometers.

history

From 1940 to 1945 the street formed part of Reichsstraße 174 .
