The Silnice I / 26 ( Czech for "road I. Class 26") is a Czech national road (road I. class).
course
The road begins at Ejpovice at junction (exit) 67 of the Dálnice 5 motorway ( European route 50 ) east of the city of Pilsen (Plzeň). It initially leads as a four-lane road into the center of Pilsen and leaves it in a south-westerly direction. Dálnice 5 is crossed again at junction (exit) 89; the road continues via Stod (Staab) and Horšovský Týn (Bischofteinitz) to Draženov (Trassenau), where the Silnice I / 22 branches off to the east. The continuation of the road leads via Česká Kubice into the Cham-Further Senke (Všerubská vrchovina) and here over the border with the Federal Republic of Germany, where the federal road 20 continues to Furth im Wald .

history
From 1940 to 1945 the street formed part of Reichsstraße 20 and east of Pilsen of Reichsstraße 14 .
