The Silnice I / 27 ( Czech for "1st class street 27") is a Czech state road (1st class street).
course
The road branches off in Dubí (Eichwald) 4 kilometers north of Teplice (Teplitz) from Silnice I / 8 and runs from there to the southwest via Osek (Ossegg) and Litvínov (Leutensdorf) to Most (Brüx), here for 5 kilometers long section with the four-lane Silnice I / 13 ( European route 442 ), further south, while it crosses the Dálnice 7 motorway at junction (exit) 66, runs to Žatec (Saaz) and from there, the town of Podbořany (Podersam) Immediately after a certain distance, to Silnice I / 6 , which is crossed at Petrohrad (Petersburg). The continuation of the road runs through the towns of Kralovice (Kralowitz), Plasy (Plaß) and Třemošná until it reaches the town of Pilsen (Plzeň). Here it crosses the Silnice I / 20 and the Silnice I / 16 . From Pilsen to the south, it also forms part of the European route 53 . It crosses the Dálnice 5 motorway ( European route 50 ) at the junction (exit) 81, leads via Přeštice (Prestitz) and Švihov u Klatov (Schwihau) to Klatovy (Klattau), where it crosses the Silnice I / 22 , and on through the Bohemian Forest to Železná Ruda (Markt Eisenstein) and to the Czech-German border before Bayerisch Eisenstein . The continuation on the German side is the federal road 11 (with sections of the state road) via Deggendorf to Munich .
The length of the road is around 213 kilometers.
history
From 1940 to 1945 the road from the Bavarian border to Podbořany (Podersam) formed part of Reichsstraße 11 and, in its northern part, Reichsstraße 352 .
