The Silnice I / 29 ( Czech for "road I. Class 29") is a Czech national road (road I. class).

The road begins on the southern edge of the town of Písek at Silnice I / 20 ( European route 49 ). It leads along the eastern edge of this town first to the north, then turns to the northeast, crosses the Vltava (Vltava) dammed by the Orlík dam , runs through Bernatice and Opařany (Woporschan) and ends at Oltyně (Woltin) around 12 kilometers west of Tábor on Silnice I / 19 .

The length of the road is a good 33 kilometers.

history

From 1940 to 1945 the street formed part of Reichsstraße 349 .
