The Silnice I / 10 ( Czech for "1st class road 10") is a Czech state road (1st class road).
course
The road branches off from Silnice I / 35 ( European route 442 ) in Turnov and runs as an extension of Dálnice 10 ( European route 65 ), which has been upgraded to the motorway since January 1, 2016, via Železný Brod (Eisenbrod) and Tanvald (Tannwald), from here over a distance of 12 kilometers together with the Silnice I / 14 , from which it separates again at the hamlet Mýtiny (Strickerhäuser). From here it reaches the border with Poland at Harrachov (Harrachsdorf) after about six kilometers . On the Polish side, it continues as Droga krajowa 3 in the direction of Jelenia Góra (Hirschberg).
The length of the road is almost 48 kilometers.
history
From 1940 to 1945 the street formed part of Reichsstraße 121 in its northern section .
