Thorsten Laussch (* 1964 in Hamburg ) is a German actor , television and radio presenter , speaker , singer , author and entertainer .

Life

Thorsten Laussch was born in Hamburg. While still at school he appeared with his school friend Michael Lott (now also an actor) as a cabaret duo Lott and Laussch "on Hamburg stages. After high school and community service, activities in cabaret, drama school (studies with a diploma), news anchors at OK-Radio and Radio Hamburg, TV presenter at Tele 5 , columnist for the Bild newspaper, speaker and author of the daily cult comedy Rudi Drahtlos for OK-Radio and author of the RTL II TV show Please Smile . He also had guest roles in the Großstadtrevier , live broadcasts N-TV, 9live, Astro-TV and theater engagements. He has been on stages with his own solo program since 1992. Laussch has also made a name for himself as a talk show host. Both on radio and television and in numerous live events such as the successful "Talk" am Schloss "(2000 to 2006) or" Talk im Kult "(2015/16), a series of events from a cafe in Langenhorn, which was also broadcast live, interviewed Laussch pr ominous guests from acting, music, lifestyle and politics. Since 1995 Thorsten Laussch has been the actor and author of the character caretaker Rudi at the local broadcaster Hamburg 1 and can be seen on numerous stages in (Northern) Germany as well as in the program Unterwegs in Hamburg . Since this character has been in the media and on stage since 1989, and emerged from the previous character "RUDI DRAHTLOS" on OK Radio, Laussch celebrated its 25th "Rudi" anniversary in 2014. The TV format was updated in 2016. The program is now called "Rudi Reloaded-Facilitymanager 3.0". Here, too, Laussch embodies "Janitor Rudi" in a more modern broadcast concept.

Since 2017 the entertainer has been at the side of Joachim Llambi (RTL "Lets Dance"), Roberto Blanco, Wolfgang Penk (former ZDF entertainment director), and others. a. Member of the board of trustees of the Heinz Schenk Foundation . Named after the TV show master and actor, the foundation looks after young talent for the show industry and awards the "Heinz Schenk Young Talent Award" every two years.

Laussch has published three CDs and a book and worked on three others. He has a son and lives in Ahrensburg.
