Moabeat

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Moabeat was a Berlin hip-hop band. The quartet was originally named after the Berlin district of Moabit , from which the band members come. Before the release of their first LP in early 2004, they renamed themselves, but the band officially split up in the summer of the same year. With their debut EP Bear on Speed , which was released in 2002, they did not experience any major commercial success. Even with the first long player Urgency Always There was no real chart break, individual songs like Topmodel or Macker were played on local radio stations.
