The Mobile Bay is a bay in the US state of Alabama .
At the head of the bay is Mobile , Alabama's main port city. The Tensaw River also flows into the bay . Mobile Bay borders Bon Secour Bay , Chacalochee Bay , Polecat Bay and the Gulf of Mexico . There are many islands in the bay such as Big Island with Meaher State Park . Mobile Bay is crossed by Interstate 10 .
