The Mobiliar Arena (ball sports hall) is a ball sports hall in Gümligen / Switzerland . It is the home of the handball club BSV Bern . The arena was completed in August 2018 in the MINERGIE (-P) standard. In addition, the arena has a photovoltaic system for electricity production and a thermal solar system for hot water production.
The Mobiliar Arena is a national center of excellence for handball , volleyball and football .
Emergence
The initiator for the construction and the main donor was the Bern Handball Foundation Youth Promotion.
The property is owned by the municipality of Muri bei Bern . The Berner Handball youth development foundation owns the Moos ball sports hall.
Technical specifications
In the Mobiliar Arena there is a field with the dimensions 20 × 40 m, which can be divided into two playing fields with the dimensions 22 × 22 m. These international masses for handball are identical for futsal and are also sufficient for large-field floorball and for sports such as volleyball and basketball with much smaller playing areas.
