Mobivia SA , based in Sainghin-en-Mélantois near Lille, is a French family business in the trade of automotive accessories, spare parts and tires, as well as the operation of automotive workshops attached to the branches . Mobivia is the market leader in Europe, with sales of EUR 3.2 billion in 2019, almost 2,100 branches and more than 23,000 employees worldwide. The Mobivia Group has a total of 19 brands in 16 countries, including Norauto , Auto 5 , Midas , Carter-Cash and ATU in German-speaking countries. Under the Via ID brand , Mobivia also invests start-ups that develop new and innovative solutions in the field of urban and shared mobility.

In 1970, Eric Derville, a member of the influential French entrepreneurial family Mulliez , opened his first car workshop under the name Norauto in Lille ; After growth in France, subsidiaries were opened in Spain (1986), Italy (1990), Belgium (1992) and Portugal (1996). From 2002 Norauto diversified by buying competitors and opening new concepts: u. a. Acquisition of Auto 5 workshops in Belgium (2002); the opening of Carter-Cash, the retailer of inexpensive auto accessories (2002); Adedis, now Norauto Franchise, and Synchro Diffusion (B2B sales of automotive parts) in 2003; Midas in Europe and Latin America, a tire and windshield car repair franchise (2004). In 2010 the Norauto group changed its name to Mobivia . In 2016, Mobivia acquired ATU in Germany.

In parallel to the growth in its core business, Mobivia is investing in start-ups in the areas of eCommerce and mobility through its in-house holding company Via ID .
